If you have been accused of any violation of the law, from speeding to theft to assault, it is important to discuss your case with an experienced criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible.

Standing Up for the Accused

Herr & Low, P.C., has successfully represented clients in Lancaster and throughout central Pennsylvania since attorney Tamara Hogan joined our firm in 1999. Contact Herr & Low to discuss your case.

The firm is experienced in all phases of criminal defense practice, from preliminary hearings, trial, sentencing, and appeals to probation and parole violations. This includes the following types of cases:

  • Felonies, misdemeanors and summary offenses: A conviction for a criminal offense can result in harsh consequences, including prison and a criminal record that may keep you from certain types of jobs.
  • DUI defense: A drunk driving conviction can result in license suspension, substantial fines and even jail time. The consequences are worse for each conviction.
  • Driver licensing and traffic offenses: A simple speeding ticket can lead to the loss of your license as well as a stiff fine and costs.
  • Juvenile law: When children are charged with juvenile offenses, their cases are handled through the juvenile court. This can include information meetings with probation officers, up and through adjudication and disposition hearings. We make sure that your child is treated fairly and appropriately — whether it be through supervision, rehabilitation, counseling, or other alternatives. We also represent young people in school suspension and expulsion cases.

Please contact our law office to schedule an appointment to discuss your case or call toll free: 888-826-6103. Be sure to have a copy of your criminal complaint when you call for your appointment.

Fees in Criminal Matters

There is an initial consultation fee of $85 for criminal law matters. Attorney's fees are usually charged on a flat fee basis and depend upon which stage of the proceeding is involved and the complexity of the case. All fees must be paid in advance before the attorney will attend any proceeding.
