Daniel Herr has been practicing law in Lancaster County since 1978. His general practice, which includes work on business matters, real estate, and some work on civil trials, has concentrated in recent years in the areas of estate planning and settlement.

Daniel Herr is a graduate of Amherst College and earned a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the Law Review staff. He also earned a Masters of Regional Planning at UNC and was co-author of "Constitutional Issues of Growth Management" published by Planners Press. He is a member of the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations. He has been active in the community, has served on several non-profit boards, and has served for 12 years as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Strasburg Township, where he lives.
